Segmentation is very much about dividing the external world (companies, people, projects and opportunities) in groups (segments) so as to be able to work more focused and thus effectively.
In ChannelCRM there are a number of standard options for segmentation:
Used to divide the firms after the relationship they have with your company. Eg. "Customer" or "Supplier" |

A kind of dynamic stamps, you can put on companies, contacts, mm. Topics with a given Infotag, can very easily be added to campaigns or retrieved for other functions. |

Industry codes |
Used to register industry codes (NACE) of companies. Industry codes follow a standard and should therefore not be set up separately in ChannelCRM. |
